ABOUT

At a young age I knew that I wanted to tell stories with pictures. While interested in art I was mesmerized by the process of how pictures communicate. That point where aesthetics and content converge. The meaning of pictures. It’s that process I’ve always found fascinating. Part art, part strategy, or visa-versa, always present.

How fortunate I feel to be drawn to projects where the solutions are not immediately apparent. Where ambition and methodology are requirements of the work. Solutions not necessarily found in front of your computer. Lasting images made by time spent observing and interacting in the real world.

I could make a list of all the companies that I’ve worked for and the awards that I’ve won. But that would never explain the emotional connection I'll create between you and your audience.

Projects have come from surprising places. I’ve learned to not be surprised where the work comes from… if it’s going to be for a big client or a really tiny one. Whether it will shoot in my own backyard or far from home. Big or little has never really been the point though. It’s how relevant the story is, or can be. It’s personal.

Being as much at home in the back streets of Macau as in a boardroom of a large corporation has always been a plus.

Sharing this journey is the amazingly talented Designer, Lois Harrington, my partner in business as in life.

Timeless… authentic… relevant… I love these words like I love the color blue. The ocean is blue. Is that why I love the water? Love the way you can feel the wind shift or see the next wave on the horizon. Pictures that tell stories are like that… primal.
